Rhinoplasty, Snub Nose

Her main concern was her short nose. We recommended bridge augmentation with a silicone implant and tipplasty with ear cartilage. Short-nose correction is tricky, especially when the skin is thick. In previous consulations, she had been recommended to use rib cartilage. We chose ear instead of rib cartilage to achieve a soft nose. Alar cartilage was rearranged, and a septal extension graft was performed. This picture is three months after surgery. The length is maintained well. By putting the implant on the bridge, the starting point of the nose has been heightened, and tip lengthening has maximised the result.
